Challenge to BYD Dolphin: Hyundai's Cheapest Electric Mini Car Inster Lands in Japan at 2.849 Million Yen

According to a report by Electrek on January 11th, Hyundai's new Inster electric vehicle has been launched in Japan. This car is the cheapest electric vehicle under Hyundai and is priced lower than the BYD Dolphin (known as 'Dolphin' in China) in Japan.

Since re-entering the Japanese market in 2022, Hyundai has introduced only a few models, such as the IONIQ 5, Kona Electric, and Nexo FCEV. The new Inster EV is Hyundai's fourth electric vehicle and is expected to become the brand's best-selling product.
