News: AITO's Next-Generation Vehicles Based on Changan SDA, Huawei No Longer Backs the Platform
According to a report, AITO is expected to introduce at least two new products in 2026, a large six-seat new energy SUV with the codename F618, and a new energy MPV with the codename D706. These two models will be the flagship products of AITO's next generation.
Changan is developing the SDA 2.0 platform, a universal platform for multiple brands under Changan, with the first batch of products expected to be launched in 2026.
AITO's next-generation products will primarily be based on the new SDA 2.0 platform, with the F618 expected to be the first model on the new platform, planned for mass production (SOP) after June 2026.
It is reported that the new platform does not continue the CHN cooperation model. Nominally, the CHN platform was jointly created by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, and was exclusive to AITO.
As previously reported, on December 12th, AITO and Huawei signed a comprehensive deepening strategic cooperation agreement, with both parties cooperating deeply in areas such as product development, marketing, and ecological services to support AITO in creating the next series of models.
The report states that Huawei remains a key partner, but the nature of the cooperation will change. Sources reveal that Huawei's role is more like a "key supplier" rather than a collaborator in vehicle manufacturing.
