By 2030, China's smart connected vehicles will add over 2 trillion yuan in value
According to a recent report by CCTV News, this year has seen the continuous acceleration of the intelligent upgrade in China's new energy vehicle industry, with new technologies being iterated and new models emerging. The industry is showing a rapid development trend. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, large models, and 5G communication are being increasingly applied, quickly empowering the intelligent development of new energy vehicles.
Experts have indicated that China's automotive industry is accelerating towards the 'new track' of intelligent competition, and the competitive landscape of the industry will also be rapidly restructured. It is predicted that by 2030, the added value of China's smart connected vehicles will exceed 2 trillion yuan.
From the report, it was learned that among the 353 new models from January to November 2024, there were 283 models at level L2 (equipped with partial automated driving technology), accounting for 80.2%. In terms of specific functional configurations, the installation rates of intelligent connected functions such as rear parking radar, central control color LCD screen, voice recognition control system, and vehicle networking are all above 80%.
